PHYLLIS ARMSTRONG (nee HILEY) 1920 - 2000 Peacefully at the Riverview Health Centre with her family by her side on Saturday, August 5, 2000 at the age of 80 years. She was predeceased by her husband James; her parents, Stanley and Daisy Hiley and by her brother Murray. Phyllis leaves to mourn her passing her two sons, Bruce and Craig (Shonnon) grandchildren, Keith, Holly and James; one great-grandchild Tyler, all of Winnipeg; her brother Robert (Helene) Hiley of Vancouver. Phyllis loved children and devoted 22 years of her life teaching at the Silver Heights Collegiate. Her ability to listen without judgment was one of her outstanding qualities. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. The family wish to thank the Staff of Riverview Health Centre and also her many friends who visited Phyllis. Cremation has taken place. The Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 9 at 2:30 p.m. from Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #1 East at Green Acres Lane, with Rev. Michael Boulger officiating.
