ANASTASIE MCRAE (nee CHAMBERLAND) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother on August 6, 2000, at Health Sciences Centre after a brief illness. Anastasie was born November 3, 1932 in St. Isidore de Bellevue (Batoche), Saskatchewan to Emmanuel Chamberland and Imelda Grimard. Shortly after her birth the family moved to St. Boniface, Manitoba. Her family had to briefly return to Saskatchewan to escape the Flood of 1950. She will be very sadly missed by her two sons, James and Dwight of Winnipeg; Isla Johnston of Honolulu; Donna Bartelt of Washington; Norma Rosenberg and the rest of her friends at the Ilikai Pool. Also leaving to mourn are Kelly and Ira of California; Godchildren, Peter and Paul of Alberta; numerous family relatives and business associates. Ann spent most of the early part of her life raising her family and was only later in life that she started to work at the family business Labtronics Manufacturing. It was at Labtronics that she met most of her business associates. At Labtronics she met, over the phone, people from across Canada and being involved in the agriculture sector she always said she met some of the nicest, most interesting people. We know that these people who dealt with her on a day to day basis will miss her greatly. At the deceaseds request, cremation has already taken place and no services will be held. Our mothers ashes are to be spread off the waters of Waikiki beach. "Mom, mother we will miss you greatly and always cherish your memory" NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
