JOHN MORTIMER (JACK) MORE It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jack More - father and grandfather - on Sunday, August 6, 2000, at St. Boniface Hospital. Jack will be sadly missed by his son Terry, his beloved grandson Peter, and Peters mother Christine Scalena; Jay, John and Charles Prober and their families. Jack was predeceased by his first wife Gwendoline James, his second wife Marion Prober, and his brother James. He was born on June 8, 1911, in Edinburgh, Scotland, but spent most of his life in Winnipeg. In his younger days, Jack was an avid golfer at Southwood Golf and Country Club, spending many happy times with his friends there, on and off the golf course. He also enjoyed vacationing in Sebring, FLA, in his later years. A private graveside service is planned at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. The family extends sincere thanks to the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for all their care and compassion. We miss him and will remember him forever.
