Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN WILLIAM MORTON August 7, 1921 - August 7, 2000 Suddenly, at the St. Boniface Hospital, on August 7, 2000. John is survived by his wife of 56 years, Agnes; his son Robert, and granddaughter, Britane, both of Texas; his twin sister Betty of St. Catherines, ON; as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and the U.S. John was born in Beamsville, ON and served in the RCAF during the Second World War. After his service, he was employed by the Winnipeg School Division until his retirement in 1986. A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 10 at 12:30 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Cremation has already taken place. Expressions of gratitude and thanks to the staff and doctors in St. Boniface Hospital ICS for their care, support, and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations in Johns memory may be made to the Rainbow Society, 302 - 171 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1M4.
