GEORGE LEMAY December 16, 1906 - August 7, 2000 On Monday, August 7, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital, surrounded by his family, our Papa and Pepere left this world to continue his life in the next. He was predeceased by his parents, Pomela Landry and Joseph Lemay; and his brothers, Ernest and Jim; and one sister Irene; his first wife Paula and second wife Fabiola; and son-in-law Louis Dupasquier and niece Lorraine Toutant. Left to mourn are his children, Simone Dupasquier, Cecile (John) Vereyken and Paul (Gail) Lemay; four grandchildren, Louise Dupasquier (Werner Doerksen), Zoel (Karen) Dupasquier, Irene (Ernie) Ricard, and Paula Lemay (Johnny Viveiros) five great-grandchildren, Kelela, Caitlyn, and Louis Dupasquier and Ernie and Felicia Ricard; and his sisters daughters, Claudette Toutant Maugile and Rita Toutant, s.m.n.d.a. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 11 at 10:30 a.m. in the Saint-Martyrs-Canadiens R.C. Church, 289 Dussault Ave., with Rev. Fr. Jean-Louis Rocan presiding. Viewing will take place one-half hour prior to service. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Zoel Dupasquier, Johnny Viveiros, Werner Doerksen, Paula Lemay, Louise Dupasquier, Claudette Toutant Maugile. The family would like to send a heartfelt thanks to the staff of 4 ABC at the Tache Nursing Centre where he lived for the last three years, especially Raquel, Terry, Bonnie,and Margot for their love and devotion to him. Special thanks to the medical staff who all did their best to care for him during the last two days of his life: Ward 4B and surgical staff of St. Boniface Hospital; also Dr. Glazerson and the Emergency staff at the Concordia Hospital.
