MABEL IRENE HOMEYER After a lengthy illness, Mabel Homeyer passed away at the Misericordia Health Care Centre on Monday, August 7, 2000, at the age of 95. She was predeceased by her husband Webster; sisters, Nora and Isabella; brothers, William and Ellwood; half-sister Evelyn; and half-brother Earl. Mabel will be lovingly remembered by her son Brian (Judi), Myrtle (Gilles) Trottier; grandchildren, Erin, Meredith, Andrew, Bruce, and Cherie; great-grandchildren, Delan and Lauren; sister Lillian; as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her strength of character and her love for her children and grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Friday, August 11 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, and a reception will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. The family would like to thank the staff at the Misericordia for their kindness and care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to World Relief Canada.
