JOHN HARLEY LORI EWERS HARLEY On Monday, August 7, 2000, John and Lori Harley passed away as a result of a tragic accident. They will be deeply missed by their two-year old daughter Merribeth; Johns parents Else and Roger Lawforth; sisters, Kim (Gerry) Shiels, Cindy (Jules) Gereau; brother Derek; grandmother Hazel Harley; father Bob Harley and aunts and uncles; Loris parents Berenice and Bernard Ewers; sister Dawn; brother Scott and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in England. John and Lori were both born in Winnipeg and attended school here. In 1993 they were married. Shortly after they moved to Marchand where they enjoyed the country life with their daughter Merribeth and their two dogs Cuddles and Freckles. John and Lori worked with Bartel Bros. Trucking. The funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (across from the Royal Canadian Mint). A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre. Remembrances of John and Lori may be sent to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, Man., R2L 1X3.
