JOHN ROBERT YARISH John Robert Yarish on August 8, 2000. Dearly loved husband of Bonnie; devoted father of Carla and Jessica; son of John and Olga Yarysz, Winnipeg; brother of Linda (Gordon) Morrison, Winnipeg; son-in-law of Vi and Don Berringer; brother-in-law of Ross (Helen) Berringer, Vancouver; uncle of Owen and Emma. John was born on September 25, 1950 in Winnipeg. He graduated from the University of Manitoba in Microbiology in 1972 and worked with the Federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans in Winnipeg, Vancouver and Victoria, and most recently with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency in Victoria. A kind, gentle, good man with a marvellous sense of humour and an interest in many things, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 18 at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria, with reception to follow. Flowers gratefully declined.
