IRENE MURPHY (nee PRUDHOMME) With deepest sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, sister, niece, and aunt, Irene, after a lengthy illness, on Wednesday, August 9, 2000, at Riverview Health Centre. Left to cherish her memory are her son Cameron; daughter Michelle (Steve) and grandson Joseph; sisters, Lori (Myron), Lucille, Yvonne (Dale) brother Jerry (Elizabeth) many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Also brothers-in-law, Fred and Dave (Barbara). Irene was predeceased by her husband Len in 1995; her father and mother, Edward and Julia; brother Andrew; nephew Danny; and brother-in-law Joe. Irene was a kind and gentle soul who gave so much of herself to her children and grandchildren and also to her brothers and sisters. We will always love you and miss you Irene. There will be a celebration of Irenes life on Monday, August 14 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Visitation will be held one half hour prior to the service time. The Rev. Peter Douglas will officiate.
