Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROLAND RUPERT PATTESON AUGUST 31, 1916 - AUGUST 10, 2000 On August 10, 2000 at Riverview Health Centre, Roland Patteson of Winnipeg dies at the age of 83 years. Roland was born in Winnipeg where he attended Lord Roberts School. He was a retired stationary engineer who finished his working career with Canada Vinegar. Prior to that, he worked at MacDonald Aircraft in Winnipeg. He loved his yard and his garden and was always ready to share his gardening tips with friends and neighbours. He was a kind and decent gentleman who was well loved and respected by many family and friends. He is survived by his sister Mildred Agar of Dauphin; nephews, Wayne Drury of Winnipeg and Brian Drury of Elm Creek; nephew Larry Patteson of Winnipeg; niece Geraldine Patteson of Winnipeg, nieces Judith Vanderklok of Winnipeg and Merle Grant of Calgary; nephews Warren, George and Grant George of Winnipeg; and many cousins, great-nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre for their kindness, care and help. We also want to express our appreciation to Diane Jamieson, Marilyn Wright and Joanne Juras for their care and friendship. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church on Wednesday, August 16 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Society for Manitobans with Disabilities.
