PEARL OGRODNIK It is with deep regret and sorrow that we announce the passing of Pearl OGrodnik at the age of 78 years. Pearl was predeceased by her husband Michael OGrodnik; daughter Brenda Mann; granddaughter Michelle Mann and long time friend and companion Nick Poworoznyk. Pearl leaves to mourn her three sons, John OGrodnik (Betty), Chaz Wescott (Barb) of Edmonton and Al OGrodnik (Barb) of Edmonton; brother-in-law Charlie OGrodnik (Amy) grandchildren, Larry and Diane Mann, Don Mann, Lori Mann, Tracey Mann, Connie Mann, Kimberly and Cory OGrodnik, Darren Cardno (Juanita), Dean Kachurowski; great-grandchildren, Ashlee and Michael, Crystal and Lindsay, Melissa and Tyler, Brenden and Brae-Ann, Natasha and Dori, Kienna and Corstin and Jenelle; great great-grandchildren, Khylla and Caeden. Pearl was employed as a nurse at the Sharon Home for over 30 years. The family would like to thank the following: Helen Doyle and Liz Evans for being very good friends and companions to Pearl. They endured many good and a few bad times together, but always remained very close. Larry and Dianne Mann who would go out of their way and do anything they could to make her life happy. Jim Schmidt for his time and effort. Anna Vnuk and Mary Mlodzinski for their friendship. A special thanks to Sharon and staff of Gentle Touch for their care and support and to the staff on 3 East at Concordia Hospital. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Glen Eden Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 16, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. Innichement Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
