REVA ARONOVITCH Surrounded by her loving family, Reva Aronovitch passed away peacefully on August 12, 2000. Reva was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Edgar J. (Juk) Aronovitch in 1983. She is survived by her sons, Brian (Penny), Donald (Beverly) sister Bernice Olin and brother Martin Greenberg. Reva was blessed with six grandchildren, Drew (Sarah Dvorah), Fraser (Marla), Lois (Michael Powell), Steven, Joshua and Judith plus eight great-grandchildren, Hinde, Yehuda, Yehoshua, Rachel, Bracha, Shoshana, Lee and Mordechai. Reva was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her love of reading and nature were central aspects of her life. She was a Life Member of Hadassah-Wizo and she supported many other organizations in Canada and Israel. A private graveside service was held at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery on August 13. Pallbearers were Fraser Aronovitch, Joshua Aronovitch, Steven Aronovitch, Terry Braunstein, Peter Leipsic, Paul Olin and Michael Powell. The family is deeply grateful to the devoted and caring staff of the Medical Intensive Care Unit and Palliative Care Units of the St. Boniface General Hospital. Donations in Revas memory can be made to the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba. Shiva is being observed at 350 Montrose St.
