SUSAN GALBRAITH (nee VERITY) Suddenly, on August 8, 2000, in Olds, Alberta, Susan Galbraith passed away at the age of 49 years. Susan was predeceased by her father, Charles and father-in-law, William. Susan is survived by her beloved husband Bruce of 28 years, her sons, Chris, Patrick, and Bryan. Her mother, Mary, brothers, Fred and Bryan (Val). In-laws, Muriel Galbraith, sister-in-law, Marilyn (Bob), brother-in-law, Ross (Bev) and many nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends, and her special friend, Ellen. Susan took pride in her home and family. She was always there for support and encouragement to all who knew her. She enjoyed being involved with curling and being on the board of the M.C.A. Her love for Arabian horses gave her many hours of pleasure, as well as her sewing and crafts. No project was too difficult. At the time of her passing, she was working for Carellan Sewing Centre. She will be sadly missed by the staff and customers. Susan touched the lives of many and all who knew her will feel an emptiness. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susans memory can be made to a charity of your choice. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 16 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, with Rev. John Moore officiating.
