Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCATHERINE ANN McCUTCHEON (nee VENNARD) Peacefully, on August 10, 2000 at the Concordia Hospital, with her family by her side, Catherine Ann McCutcheon passed away at the age of 92. Mother was born July 5, 1908 in a small hamlet known as Forest Farm (north of Whitewood, Saskatchewan) where she was the eldest of 11 children. She had been a resident of East Park Lodge in Transcona for the past several years. She was a feisty little lady who loved life and went through many challenges. Her endurance won her battles in life with cancer many times. She is a wonder of survivors. She was loved by all who got the chance to know her, to know her was to love her. Her talents were many. Predeceased by her husband Harold in 1957, she leaves to mourn and cherish her memory her children, Douglas (Pauline), Jodi McClelland, all of Winnipeg, Flo (Langen) Dundas of Regina, Sask., Melorie Davies of Ottawa, Ontario; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her 3 sisters and 2 brothers. The family would like to extend special thanks to the residents of Park Manor who were always there for mother after her operations. Thanks also to the Police and Ambulance attendants that rushed her to the Concordia Hospital, and to the doctors and nurses doing their utmost for her. Special thanks to Dr. E. Giannouli, Dr. Ormiston and the staff of N2 West Wing. A service in her memory will be held at a later date. She will be sadly missed by her immediate family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, her many friends and her favourite companion, Tesla. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
