JOHANNA FRANCISCA JANSEN On Sunday, August 13, 2000, Johanna Jansen, age 91 years, passed away at the Victoria Hospital. Johanna will be sadly missed by her children, John (Antonia), Peter (Pat), William (Terry), Elizabeth (Andre) VanGorp, Corrie (Frank) Harder, Frank (Wendy) 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Antonia Prinsen in The Netherlands, other relatives and friends. She was born on March 22, 1909 in Hank, The Netherlands. She was predeceased by her loving husband Johannes in 1984 in Winnipeg, five sisters and one brother (all of The Netherlands). The family wish to thank her Home Care workers, Emily, Shirley and the late Rita and also to the nurses and staff on the 3rd Floor, Victoria Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Victory Roman Catholic Church, 254 Arnold Ave. with Rev. Fr. Henryk Laciak officiating. Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jason, Adrian, Paul, John, Barry, Craig and Rick. Flowers gratefully declined, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Johannas memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, R3B 2H8.
