BIENVENIDO (KA BOBBY) CLEODORO SR. July 18, 1925 - August 13, 2000 It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and friend Bienvenido (Ka Bobby) Cleodoro Sr. After a courageous battle with cancer with his family and friends by his side Bienvenido Sr. passed away Sunday August 13, 2000 at the Health Sciences Centre. Ka Bobby was born in Paranaque, Metro Manila and come to Winnipeg on Thursday, May 28, 1987. Bienvenido was predeceased by his parents Agapito and Sophia Cleodoro, and his brother Ernesto Cleodoro. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 47 years Ligaya Cleodoro; his sister Rebecca del Rosario, nephew Daniel (Teresita) and Naomi del Rosairo, and niece Sophia of The Philippines, as well as his loving children, Jonas (Rowena) Cleodoro, Cynthia Cleodoro, Bienvenido (Nida) Cleodoro Jr., Mylene (Rowel) Tipan, Joel and Jomar all of Winnipeg, Rosario (Emiliano) Cundangan, Josephine (Roger) Besa both in The Philippines and grandchildren Randy, Eloina, Rommel, John Michael, Monica, Joanna Marie, Jan Ranier, Patrick, Kristina, John Christopher, Mark Julius, Mark Leophen, Giancarlo and Larizza Laine. Lamay (viewing) will be held Thursday, August 17 and Friday August 18 from 6:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m., both nights (Prayers 9:00 p.m. Thursday) at Knysh Funeral Chapel 1020 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 19 at 9:00 a.m. from St. Marys Roman Catholic Cathedral, 353 St. Mary Ave., with Rev. Fr. Darren Gurr as the celebrant. Burial will take place in The Philippines. Pallbearers will be, Boy Salas, Celo Ramos, Cesar Ignacio, Willie Tipan, Richard Santos, Manuel Petrasanta, Christian Reyes and Antonio Gabriel.
