GEORGE JULIAN SMALL August 21, 1929 - August 14, 2000 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George on Monday, August 14, 2000. George was born and raised in Fisher Branch. George was predeceased by his parents, Mike and Elizabeth. He leaves to mourn his devoted wife Lily; his two daughters, Eleanor and Helen (Kevin) and one granddaughter Shelby; his brothers, Teddy, Carl (Mildred) his sister Mary (Steve) and many nieces and nephews. Also his close companions, Digger, Wally and Jasmine. George worked many years with road construction, in the past. He always found time to be with his daughters "the two apples in his eyes", but then came another, his granddaughter Shelby who lit up his eyes even more, in the last year. George will be sadly missed by all. At Georges request, cremation has taken place and prayers will be held Friday, August 18 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Fisher Branch. and mass will be on Saturday, August 19 at 10:30 a.m. Gathering of family and friends will be held afterwards at the Ukrainian National Home. Honorary pallbearers will be his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and his close friends. Vichnaya Pamyat In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fisher Personal Care Home.
