Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE JOSEPHINE NEGRYCH (nee PERCHALUK) September 27, 1915 - August 17, 2000 Loving mother, grandmother, great-grand-mother, widow of the late Daniel Negrych, passed away peacefully in the early morning of Thursday, August 17, 2000. She will be lovingly remembered by her son David (JoAnn) daughter Patricia (Delwin) Graham; grandchildren, Theresa (Chris) Munn, Robert (Barbara) Graham, Richard (Andrea) Graham, David Graham, Trent (Wendy) Graham, David, Jonathan and Jane Negrych; great-grandchildren, Natasha, Kiah, Jillian, Kylee, Daniel, Erin, Connor and Somer; brothers, John (Mary) Perchaluk and Mike (Mary) Perchaluk; sisters, Frances Hunt and Jean (Harry) Hatch; sisters-in-law, Jean Perchaluk and Frances Perchaluk; and many nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her parents; and brothers, Walter and Peter Perchaluk. Anne was born to Nicholas and Mary Perchaluk in Sclater, MB, where she was raised and educated. At 13 years, she became assistant post master in her parents general store. She married Daniel Negrych August 11, 1935. During the Second World War, Anne and Dan moved to Flin Flon, MB where they resided for 40 years. She operated a boarding house for the next four years while Daniel worked for Hudson Bay Mining Co. Anne served at various times as President of the Catholic Womens League of Flin Flon, District Girl Guide Commissioner and member of the Flin Flon Bridge Club. She was also involved in curling and bowling. Anne became a L.P.N. at 50 years of age, and worked in the Flin Flon General Hospital for 16 years, retiring in 1981. In 1983, Anne and Dan moved to Winnipeg and resided at Luther Home Apartments, 1984 Powers, until their respective demises. Anne was active in her church at St. Anns, Flin Flon and St. Anthonys of Padua (Burrin Ave.). Prayers will be held on Friday, August 18 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 19 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 250 Burrin Ave., with Rev. Fr. Terry McGrath officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Special thanks are extended to the staff and friends at Luther Home and to Dr. K. S. Jolly, Dr. David Meyrowitz and the caring staff of the 5th Floor of Seven Oaks Hospital, and Dr. Ron Bailey of Flin Flon.
