JEAN VALERIE BRUNEAU (nee DUPONT) 1926 - 2000 Surrounded by her family and friends, it was time to say goodbye to our dear mother, nanny, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. Jean was born on October 14, 1926 in Goodfare, AB. She later moved to Powerview where she went to school. She married Antoine Bruneau and moved to Lac du Bonnet. In later years, she divorced and raised her nine children as a single parent. Jean was known for her quick wit and vibrant nature. She was full of spunk. She had many interests. She was quite well known for her beautiful knitting. Someone was always wanting her to knit a sweater. Jean loved a good game of bingo, especially the ones she won. Jean loved spending time at the Pioneer Club with her friends. Jean worked all around Lac du Bonnet and in many bush camps as a cook. The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home for the excellent care, kindness and compassion towards Jeannie beannie and her family. She thought of everyone there as family. A special thanks to granddaughter MaryAnn for being there for nanny every day. If friends so wish donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Jeans memory. I heard a loud voice shout from the throne: Gods home is now with his people. He will live with them, and they will be his own. Yes, God will make his home among his people. He will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying or pain. These things of the past are gone forever. Revelation 21:3-4 cev Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 19 at 11:00 a.m. from the Notre Dame du Lac Parish, Lac du Bonnet with Fr.
