JOSE SOARES Peacefully, on August 17, 2000, Jose Soares, aged 88, passed away at the Riverview Health Centre. Jose is survived by his wife Fernanda; his sons and daughter, Tomas (Adriana), Jose (Alcina), Fatima, Carlos (Helena) and Fernando (Brenda). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, four brothers and two sisters, and other numerous family members. Prayers will be held on Friday, August 18 at 7:00 p.m., Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 19 at 9:30 a.m. at the same location. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements 586-8044.
