Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAPHAEL (RALPH) JOSEPH NAULT On Wednesday, August 2, 2000, after a brief battle with cancer, Ralph passed away surrounded by his family, aged 63 years. Ralph was born Friday, September 11, 1936 at Ste. Rose DuLac, Man. He moved with his family to The Pas in 1943 and attended Sacred Heart School. Ralph and Mayo were married in 1957 and raised four children. Ralph was a "jack of all trades" and over the years he was employed in many different areas; civil servant, development consultant, entrepreneur, and at present, as a Master Barber. Ralph loved his home on Ralls Island. He was an avid golfer and liked to hunt, fish and work on projects in Kens shop. He also enjoyed socializing and playing crib with his buddies. Ralph was very proud of his children and took special pride in his grandchildren. He also loved his dog Chico. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mayo; his sons, Ralph Jr. (Jo-Ann), Randy (Cheryl), Rick; his daughter Janine Stait (Tom) his grandchildren, Dustin, Trevor, Kelly, Mitchel, Sharly, Dennae and Cody. Also left to mourn are his brother Danny (Shirley) sister Lillian Dergez (Pete) and other relatives. Ralph had a zest for life and anyone who had the privilege of meeting him was impacted by his vibrant personality. He will be dearly missed. Ralph was predeceased by his parents Alphonse Joseph Nault and Clemence Marie Nault. A Service of Thanksgiving was held Monday, August 7, 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Hemauer Funeral Home, with James Hemauer presiding. The Organist was Tannis Asseltine and the Soloists were Teresa Pidskalny and granddaughter, Dennae Stait. Tributes to Ralph were given by son Randy and nephew Shawn Stevenson. Honorary Pallbearers, Harold Beisner, Willy Borreson, Lloyd (Chuck) Harmatiuk, Peter Hrabowich, Curly Lapointe, Rod McKenize, Corky Peterson and Howard Schultz. Honour Guard "Shriners", Derek Betts, Harvey Burkart, Gordon (Ted) Green, Arnold Johnson, Bev Lamb, Don Lamb, Greg Lamb, Jim Metcalfe, Jock McAree, Warren Wain. Immediately following the Service, a reception was held at Royal Canadian Legion Hall to which everyone was invited. Following the reception, Ralphs family invited all to a time of fellowship at their home at Ralls Island. If friends so desire, donations to The Pas Health Complex Foundation (for the upgrade of hospital equipment) in care of Box 240, The Pas, Man., R9A 1K4 would be appreciated by Ralphs family.
