MEGHAN LINDSAY WHITE
Born: Aug 14, 1981
Date of Passing: Aug 10, 2000
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMEGHAN LINDSAY WHITE Meghan Lindsay White was born in Melita, MB on a hot harvest day, August 14, 1981, the second of three precious daughters of her parents, Wayne and Faye (Thompson) White. In her short lifetime she became and continues to be an incredible blessing to her family and friends. Meghan died on August 10, 2000 as a result of a tragic motor vehicle accident and we are changed forever. A celebration of Meghans life was held at the Victoria United Church, Melita, on Monday, August 14, her 19th birthday. This very special service was led by Meghans Aunt Dianne Cooper and included a personal tribute by Marla, April, and Dana Cameron, a piano solo by Aunt Annette Lomore, touching choir selections by Sweet Debut and friends, and the lighting of 19 birthday candles by her sisters, Jessica and Erin. Meghan will be missed and cherished forever by her parents, Wayne and Faye; her sisters and best friends, Jessica and Erin; "adopted sister" Marlee Ritchie; grandmothers, Marian White and Bernice Thompson; aunts and uncles, Annette (Dennis Lomore) Bev (Merv Tweed) Rick Thompson (Michelle) Greg Thompson; Maureen (Ken Mattsson) Don White (Louise) Dianne (Keith Cooper) Beth (Bob Quesnel) numerous loved cousins; her second "family" Murray, Donna, Tara, Dana, April and Marla Cameron; a large extended family and many special dear friends. She was predeceased by her grandfathers, Gordon Thompson and Larry White. Meghan achieved much in her short life but none of her awards meant as much to her as her friends and family. Meghan had a kind and generous heart and she touched many people in her lifetime. Because of her, the world is a better place. Meg loved to laugh and would want everyone to keep smiling. We hope you will keep her spirit alive by honouring her memory and by loving each other. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Meghan White Scholarship Fund, Box 459, Melita, MB R0M 1L0. There are two lasting gifts we can give to our children - one is roots and the other is wings.
