BOYD (nee WILSON) April 22nd, 1921 - August 16th, 2000 It is with sadness that we the family of Mrs. Marjorie Boyd announce her death on Wednesday August 16, 2000 at the St. Boniface General Hospital in Winnipeg after a long battle with cancer. Mom was predeceased by her husband Bill (Willy) in 1986; and her mother and father; and brothers, Fred and Cliff. She is survived by her daughters, Diane Harris, Connie Riddell (Murray) and son Terry (Marilyn) grandchildren, Darrell and Dana Dakus, Christopher (Shannon), Jillian and Debra Riddell and Roberta Dudgeon and Gary (Rachel) Boyd; great-grandchildren, Robin, Alexander, Alyshia, Bret and Caine; brother Ron Wilson and sister Joyce Graham. Mom was born and educated in Minnedosa, MB, where she resided until 1959 when the family relocated to Winnipeg. Mom was a lifetime member of OORP, and an associate member of Club 60 Ladies Auxiliary, a member of RCL Branch No. 97 and was a lifetime member of the West Kildonan Ladies Curling Club. Besides her family, Marjorie loved to knit and enjoyed her times out camping during the summer months. One other past time of Moms was her BINGO outings, which she enjoyed immensely. A memorial service will be held on Monday August 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Avenue. Inurnment will follow the service in Boyd Cemetery located in Bethany, MB at 3:00 p.m. We, the family, would like to thank the nursing staff at the Palliative Care Unit at the St. Boniface Hospital and Drs. Daneaick and Wong. We would also like to thank the Winnipeg Home Care and V.O.N. especially Myrna.
