LYLE ALEXANDER SPENCER Peacefully on Thursday, August 17, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, MB, with his family at his side, Lyle Alexander Spencer, aged 74 years, beloved husband of Dorothy Spencer of Carman, MB. Lyle leaves to cherish his memory his wife Dorothy Spencer; two sons, Wayne (Beverley) Spencer, and their children, Tracie and Baden, and Barry (Sharlene) Spencer, and their children, Carly, Jay, Janine, and Craig. Lyle is also survived by stepchildren, Sharon Biggar (Peter Russell), Bonnie (Shawn) McCutcheon and their children, Warren, and Danine, Douglas (Nora) Biggar, Brian (Linda) Biggar; and sister Leona (Lyle) Meeks and her family, son Earl (Marianne) Ferris, two daughters, Michelle (Jeremy) and Bonnie and granddaughter Jessica; daughter Colleen (Robyn) Copeland and their sons, Jeffrey and Patrick; son Dale (Janet) Ferris and their children, Shawn, Derick, Jolene and Keri; daughter Sherry (Gerry) Neufeld. Lyle was predeceased by his first wife Mary Ellen Spencer; his parents, Edith and Baden Spencer; and his mother and father-in-law Frank and Ida Lenton. Funeral service will be held from the Carman United Church in Carman, MB on Saturday, August 19 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Wayne Larstone officiating. Interment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery, Carman, MB. Memorial donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6 or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301- 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8 or to a charity of ones choice.
