LEO SAVARD Peacefully on August 17, 2000 at the St. Boniface General Hospital, Leo Savard passed away at the age of 83 years. Those who are left to mourn are his two brothers, Lucien (Dora) and Philias (Jacqueline), and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters, one niece and one nephew. Prayers will be held on Monday, August 21 at 7:00 p.m. from the chapel of Desjardins Funeral Home, 357 Des Meurons St. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 22 at 10:00 a.m., viewing one half hour prior to service, Saint-Joachim Roman Catholic Church, La Broquerie, MB, Fr. Leonce Aubin officiating. Interment will follow in the La Broquerie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer Manitoba, 205 Edmonton St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1R4.
