Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKLAASKE (CLAIRE) SETTER After a lengthy struggle with cancer, Claire passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2000, at the Selkirk and District General Hospital. Claire is survived by her husband Bob; daughters, Audrey, Sandra (Terry) and Karen (Randy) granddaughters, Breanne and Shayla; her father John Prins of Calgary; brothers and sisters, Peter (Theresa), Alice (Wayne), Cecil and Roy (Lucie) of Calgary, Verna, John (Gloria), Poke (Giselle) and Rita of Winnipeg, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many family and friends in the Netherlands. She was predeceased by her mother, Audrey Prins and sister Renske (Renee). Claire was a bright, warm person who loved life and people. She enjoyed her family, church, choir and volunteering at the Betel Home, where she was employed until she became ill. We have enjoyed and are thankful for the many happy years we have shared. You will be missed. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 22 at 2:30 p.m. in the Knox Presbyterian Church, with Rev. John Hogerwaard officiating. Friends and relatives may call for viewing at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. prior to the service. Thank you to all those who were involved with Claires care over the years. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, MB R3E 9Z9 or to the charity of ones choice. Peacefully sleeping, resting at last, Her days of pain and troubles are past, In silence she suffered, in patience she bore Till God took her home to suffer no more.
