Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILMA GLENN (nee KENNEDY) With sadness we announce the sudden passing of our wife, mom and friend on August 16, 2000 in her home. Born in Winnipeg, Wilma was the third daughter of Bill and Mary-Anne Kennedy. She grew up in the Norwood area, attended Prince Edward School and graduated from Norwood Collegiate. Wilma worked in several office positions throughout her life and finally retiring from the post office. Wilma met the love of her life, Jack, in September 1978 and they married on December 23, 1983. Together they lived a very happy life. Wilma loved to play bingo and will be missed by her two favourite bingo buddies, Liz and Rita. Wilma was predeceased by her parents Bill and Mary-Anne Kennedy and by her sisters, Phyllis and Kathleen (Kay). She will be sadly missed by her husband and best friend, Jack; her children, Brenda, Gary and Greg; her daughter-in-law, Debbie; Jacks children Bill and wife Anne, Marilyn Doug and David, her grandchildren Kathy, Tamara, Dana, Karensa, Glen, Johnny, Christie and Cailin and great-grandchildren Keeron and Avery and many nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 21 in the chapel at Glen Lawn Funeral Home (455 Lagimodiere Blvd.). Interment at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
