Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIOLET BLANCHE PARKER On August 18, 2000 at the Riverview Health Centre, Violet Blanche Parker. Miss Parker was born in Melksham, Wiltshire, England. In 1912, she accompanied her parents to Winnipeg where she had since resided. Miss Parker retired in 1974 from the Insurers Advisory Organization of Canada and its forerunner inspection and rating associations where she began her business career in 1929 and from where she was appointed in 1954 to act as Secretary-Treasurer of the Insurance Institute of Manitoba until her retirement. Surviving Miss Parker are three nieces and a nephew: Mrs. A.C. Neuert (Gwen), Mrs. R. P. Johnson (Connie), Mrs. P.B. Sievenpiper (Joyce), and Mr. R.J.J. Parker (Jim). Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 22, 2000 at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway with Rose Ferries officiating. Interment of the cremated remains will follow in the family plot in St. Johns Cathedral Cemetary. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
