MICHELE DARLENE FEDIRCHYK KOPANSKY Peacefully, on August 18, 2000, Michele left us to fly with the angels. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Russ; two daughters, Shannon (Rob) and Lori (CJ) son Scott (Ali) sister June (Ed) and many relatives and friends. We will all miss her so much. Michele was loved by all who knew her. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. Michele loved going for walks, bike rides, playing golf, spending time at the lake and keeping busy with her various arts and crafts. She also loved children and spent many years as a warm and caring teacher. She possessed a great joy for life and had a deep compassion and sensitivity toward others which touched everyone who knew her. Having had Michele/Mom in our lives has made us all better people. She will be missed every day. We wish to thank Dr. Brandes, Ken, Norma and everyone else involved in the care of Michele. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 21 at Klassens Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy (casual dress). In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Micheles memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society. What is Dying? A ship sails and I stand watching till she fades on the horizon, And someone at my side says, "She is gone". Gone where? Gone from my sight, thats all; She is just as large as when I saw her... The diminished size and total loss of sight Is in me, not in her, and just at that moment When someone at my side says, "She is gone", There are others who are watching her coming and their voices take up a glad shout "There she comes" - and that is dying.
