ANNE LUBINIECKI Peacefully on Friday, August 18, 2000 at the Holy Family Nursing Home our much loved sister and aunt was called home by our Heavenly Father. Anne was born in Winnipeg, December 5, 1903 to Andrew and Maria Bajcer. As an adventurous young married woman she moved to Northern Manitoba where she and her husband Bill spent some 20 years living in various northern locations. Anne was a very kind, gentle, loving person. She had an excellent sense of humour and never a harsh word for anyone. Being a very independent individual resulted in her living in her own apartment until the age of 95. Due to failing health she became a resident of Holy Family Nursing Home in September 1999. She truly enjoyed the time she spent at the nursing home and always appreciated the care and attention she received. She was predeceased by her parents, Maria and Andrew; husband Bill; brothers, Steve and Michael; sisters, Frances and Caroline; nephew Ed Balzar. Anne is survived by her brother Stan (Caroline) sister-in-law Olga Balzer; brother-in-law Joseph Popel; nieces, Elaine Bowman (Lou), Cathy Loptson (Neil), Gail McDonald (Kevin) nephews, Michael Balzer, Doug Bajcer, Tim Popel; several grand nieces and grand nephews and special friend Olga Kuchar. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to all the very special staff at Holy Family Nursing Home. Our warmest thanks to Pastoral Care and all the staff on 2A for making her stay at Holy Family a pleasant one. Funeral service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Tuesday, August 22 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Holy Family Nursing Home or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
