ALFONS ZIELINSKI Peacefully, on Saturday, August 19, 2000, at the Victoria Hospital, Alfons Zielinski, passed away at the age of 70 years. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, August 22, at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 23, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. Alfons was born in Wolyn, Poland on September 1, 1929. He was predeceased by his wife Mary on January 19, 1987 and sister Wanda. Alfons is survived by his sons, Rick and wife Cindy, Joe and wife Barbara, Edward and wife Sarah; four grandchildren, David, Christopher, Cassie-Rae, Alec; brother Leonard; sisters, Alfrieda and Mira; numerous nieces and nephews.
