BARBARA MARION (nee HONEYMAN) After a courageous battle with lung cancer, Barbara Marion passed away on Friday, August 18, 2000 at the Victoria General Hospital, at the age of 50 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Maurice and her children, Julie and Gerald. Barbara is also lovingly remembered by her parents, Doug and June Honeyman; her sisters, Darby (Ron) and Laurene (Steffan) brother, David (Yi) mother and father-in-law, Gerard and Therese Marion; as well as her extended family members and many brothers and sisters in Christ. Barbara was a devoted servant of God, whose glorious smile and joyful spirit inspired all those who loved her. She was able to embrace the goodness which exists in all people and was able to share her love and compassion unconditionally. We will all miss your spirit so very, very much, but you will continue to live in our prayers and in our hearts forever. Prayers were said on Sunday, August 20 at 7:00 p.m. in the St. Ignatius of Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 255 Stafford St. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday, August 22 at 9:30 a.m., also in the church with Rev. Fr. Peter Monty, S.J. presiding. Pallbearers will be Messrs., Marc Marion, Michel Marion, Daniel Barnabe, Rick Mrena, Jarold Kehler and Leo Allard. Our family would like to express a sincere thanks to the very special staff in Oncology at the Victoria General Hospital. I thank you, Lord, with all my heart; Before the gods to you I sing.
