JAMES H. (JIM BOWEN) GRAFF-BOWEN Jim was born in Wales, January 28, 1929 and came to Canada in 1967. He was a Teacher with the Lord Selkirk School Division. James, aged 71 years of Selkirk, died peacefully on August 19, 2000 at the Seven Oaks General Hospital, with his family at his side. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Diane; children, Susan (Brian), Jeremy (Lisa), Timothy (Lena), David, Stephen (Laurel), Lydia Holt; 15 grandchildren; his sister Gerry (Geoff) niece, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, his brother and sister-in-law, Harvey and Helen Miller and many friends. Jim was predeceased by his parents, Tudor and Madonna and his beloved first wife Dorothy. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Tuesday, August 22 at 3:30 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Special thanks to all the Seven Oaks healthcare staff, who looked after James this last month. Flowers gratefully declined.
