Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJULIAN KAWKA It is with the greatest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband and father on Sunday, August 20, 2000. Julian is survived by his wife Regina; daughter Christine; son-in-law Boguslaw Gagola; their children, Katleen and David and sister-in-law Marianna Janicka. He also leaves to mourn numerous relatives in Poland. Julian was born in Czestochowa, Poland on October 19, 1913. He served in the Polish Army in the Second World War as a Corporal. After the war Julian worked as a coal miner in England. In 1952 he immigrated to Canada. Julian worked as a brick layer. He also worked in Canada Iron and Motor Coach Industries. He was a member of the Polish Combatants Association, SPK NO. 13 and he was a member of Holy Ghost Parish. Julian was a loving and caring husband and father. He will be sadly missed. Prayers will be said on Wednesday evening, August 23 at 6:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave., with an Oblate Father officiating.
