Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY TRETIAK It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our Mother and Grandmother, Mary Tretiak on Friday, August 18, 2000 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Mary was predeceased by her husband Nicholas in 1970; parents John and Anna Yunyk; brother Alex and daughter-in-law Alice. She leaves to mourn her passing her son Ted (Kathy) and grandchildren Wes (Lisa) and Wendy (Brad) son Dan (Cindy) and grandchildren Allison and Pamela; brother Bill Yunyk(Mary) sister Kay Pitsch and several nieces and nephews. Mary was born in Winnipeg on August 15, 1916. In 1935 she married Nicholas and spent her life as a devoted wife and mother. The grandchildren will always remember Babas kind and generous nature, cooking and baking for her family and recognizing and acknowledging their many accomplishments. For the last one and a half years she resided at Luther Home where she made many friends. The family wishes to thank the kind staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, 5th floor, Unit 6 and the wonderful caring staff at Luther Home. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, August 23, between 12:00 Noon and 12:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at the Luther Home, 1081 Andrews Street immediately following the graveside at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Don Engel officiating, luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Luther Home or a charity of choice.
