Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK BRIGHAM MAY 24, 1946 - AUGUST 19, 2000 Frank, beloved husband of Donna for 33 years, succumbed to a horrendous four month battle with cancer but he was always surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Donna, his son Ian (Joanne) and precious granddaughter Julia, all of Winnipeg, his daughter Dawn and her partner Kathleen and precious foster granddaughter Mary, all of Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. He is also survived by his mother and father-in- law Catherine and Ken Hansell, his brother-in-law Gary (Dianna). Frank was predeceased by his parents Jimmy and Margaret Brigham. Also surviving him are Jenny and Walter Najduch, David (Tina) Najduch and their children Michelle and James, Karen Skowronek and her children Christie and Jordon, Aileen (Jimm) Simon and their daughter Ceilidh. He has been blessed with so many good friends and fellow workers. Frank met Donna at the age of 14 and they went together for seven years before marrying in 1967. They spent 40 very happy years together as partners, best friends and soul mates, Their greatest joy came from their family. Frank spent thirty one and a half years on the Fire Dept. retiring in January 1999. His hobbies and interests were camping, fishing, carpentry, woodworking and stained glass. He was a member of Seven Oaks Game and Fish for over 25 years and he was also a member of P-flag. The family wishes to thank the staff of Cancer Care, the doctors and nurses of Neurosciences at HSC. A special thank you to Dr. Al Schroeder, Dr. Jan Mulder and Franks angels who worked in the Palliative Ward at the Grace General Hospital. His family is left with a multitude of wonderful memories and treasures he produced for them. He will always be our teddy bear. Rest in Peace Pooh Bear and well meet again. A Celebration of Franks Life will be held Thursday, August 24, 2000, 1:00 p.m., at the Westworth United Church at Grosvenor and Lanark with Rev. Eleanor Gibb officiating. A reception to follow at the church. Flowers are gratefully declined, donations may be made in Franks memory to Cancer Care Manitoba, 100 Olivia St., Wpg, MB.
