NELLIE KORPESHO (nee LUTY) Peacefully following a lengthy illness with her family by her side at the Concordia Hospital, on Monday, August 21, 2000, Nellie Korpesho, aged 75 years, beloved wife of the late Peter Korpesho who passed away in 1988. Left to cherish her memory are three sons and one daughter, Michael and wife Delores of Spruce Grove, AB, Maryanne and husband Michael Castagna, Leonard and wife Debbie, David and wife Pat, all of Winnipeg; nine grandchildren, Gregory and Larissa, Sara and Noelle, Tyler and Richel, Falynn, Lindsay and Ried; two brothers, John and Olga Luty and Mike and Mary Luty and their families. Nellie was born in Arborg, MB. She moved to Winnipeg in the late 1940s and married Peter in 1950. Nellie was a loving mother and loved her grandchildren dearly. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, August 25 in the chapel at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. The family wishes to thank Dr. Pat Harris, her staff and the nursing staff on the 2nd floor at Concordia Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. Flowers are gratefully declined.
