Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLY MARIA BROWN Lilly Maria Brown of Lions Manor, Brandon, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2000, at the Assiniboine Centre in Brandon, Man. Lil was born July 7, 1915, at Sheho, Sask., and moved to Birtle with her parents in 1920. She married Joe Brown of Solsgirth in 1935. During Joes working years with Manitoba Pool Elevators, they lived in Meharry, Dropmore, Dutton Siding, Dauphin, Birtle and Neepawa. In 1974 they retired to Clear Lake and Mesa, Arizona, until 1990 when they moved to Lions Manor. Lil was predeceased by husband Joe in 1993; parents Don and Mary Ellen McLennan and brother Steele McLennan. She is survived by a son Terry (Vivianna) of Thunder Bay, Ont., and a daughter Grace (George) Gill of Kelowna, B.C.; there are six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; also surviving are four sisters, Chris Fulton, Mary McLennan, Elsie Miller and Grace Newsham as well as four brothers, Bill, Don, Roy and Archie McLennan. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at the Birtle Cemetery.
