MARTHA DREFFS Mrs. Martha Dreffs, of Beausejour, Man. aged 92, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2000 at the Beausejour Hospital. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Ernie of Winnipeg; her daughter Irene and her husband William Wofford of Atlanta, Georgia; her son Alex and his wife Alice of Beausejour; her son Almer and his wife Jacqueline of Beausejour; as well as seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Fred and her son Harold. There will be visitation on Thursday, August 24 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 25 at 2:00 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, Gertrude Avenue and First Street, Beausejour, Man., with Pastor Michael Cone officiating. Interment will follow at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if family and friends so desire, donations in her memory may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, Box 968, Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0 or to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St. Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
