ESTELLE KOWALSON (nee Horodny) (Flooring) Peacefully, after a courageous battle with lung cancer, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of Estelle, on Saturday, August 19, 2000 at the Riverview Health Centre. Estelle was a gifted and talented lady in the floral business and owner of Flowers by Estelle. She had a wonderful gift for creating many beautiful crafts. Her wish and request was that there be no funeral service, no flowers, no cards nor any donations, but that people pay their respects by doing for others while they are alive, by trying to understand the troubles and faults that others have, by not criticizing others unless you have walked a while in their shoes, by not censuring others harshly (particularly those who cannot defend themselves) and by leaving the passing of judgment of others to the good Lord. Special thanks to CancerCare, VON Winnipeg and the Palliative Care, Riverview Health Centre for their compassionate care.
