Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE MURRAY HIAM Word has been received of the death of George Hiam of Los Angeles, CA. on Sunday August 20, 2000 after a lengthy illness, formerly of Winnipeg. He served in the R.C.A.F. during the Second World War in both England and North Africa. He was a projectionist in Winnipeg for many years. He was also an avid photographer. He loved to explore and took great pleasure in driving over unknown territory. He was predeceased by one sister Nora Hiam in 1991. He leaves to mourn one sister Ruth Evans, Belair, MB.; two daughters of New York State; one niece Tanis Evans of Vancouver, B.C.; one nephew Murray Evans, Belair, MB.; and several cousins, including Beverley Strongman, who was a close friend. Cremation has taken place. Burial at a later date in the family plot in St. James Cemetery, Winnipeg.
