JOSEPH GULLE Peacefully on Wednesday, August 23, 2000, at his residence in Narol, MB, Joe Gulle passed away at the age of 90 years. Joe leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Marie; sons, Johnny (Dorothy), Doug (Barb) and Victor; one daughter Diane; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Joe was born in Germany on February 1, 1910. He came to Canada in 1930 and got married to Marie in 1942. Pop was loved by all who knew him. He had a great sense of humour and loved life. Joe was an active farmer who also worked for the City of Winnipeg for many years. His greatest enjoyments were his family and friends. Prayers will be said on Friday, August 25 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 26 in the Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, 5819 Henderson Hwy., Narol, MB with Fr. Jerry Talarski officiating. Pallbearers will be Kirt Marchuk, Jamie Gulle, Darryl Woloshyn, Brian McCracken, Andrew Zbrog and Howard White. Honorary pallbearers will be Walter Natiuk and Mike Pukalo. Special thanks are extended to the home care staff for their compassionate care and kindness shown to Joe. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Corpus Christi Church, 5819 Henderson Hwy., Narol, MB. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
