CHARLOTTE HUNTER FREELAND Passed away peacefully on August 24, at the age of 98. She was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John (Jock) in 1988. She leaves to mourn her daughter, June (Ralph) Anderson; and grandchildren Brian and Yvonne Anderson, Scott and Janice Anderson, and Susan and Gary Short; and also her son, Jack (Irene) Freeland and grandchildren, Pam and Ted Wells and Heather and Jim Voss; and 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her great-granddaughter, Mellisa Short; brothers Alex, Jack, and Donald Shepherd; and sisters, Jean and Amy. She also leaves to mourn her brothers, Jim (Bunty) and Roland (Babs) in Scotland. Mom took great delight in knitting socks and sweaters for her family. Her sweaters for her grandchildren have been handed to her great-grandchildren. She also made petite point pictures. She will be sadly missed by all. We would like to thank the nurses and all the staff at Donwood Manor PCH North 2 for their loving care and help during our mothers stay. At our mothers request, there will be no memorial service, and cremation has taken place.
