GWENDOLYN VYRLE DAVIDSON On August 22, 2000, Gwen left the arms of those who loved her to be in the loving arms of God. Gwen was born near Russell, MB. She worked at the Stovell Company until her marriage to Everett in 1946. As a family they resided in Manitou and Neepawa before moving to Winnipeg in 1964. She was very involved in church, school and community organizations. From 1974 to 1993 Gwen enjoyed a sales career with the Hudsons Bay Company. Square and round dancing with Everett gave her great pleasure. Her flowerbeds were always treated with TLC. Joining her parents Anne and Lloyd Schwalm, sister Doreen and brother-in-law Gordon who have gone before her, Gwen is now a guardian angel to her devoted husband Everett; daughters, Colleen, Janis (Ken), Shauna (David) and grandchildren, Adam, Clint, Darrell and Andrea (Michael). Left with cherished memories are her sister Elaine (George), aunt Alice, three nieces and a nephew, cousins and many dear friends. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 28 at 2:30 p.m. at Westworth United Church, Grosvenor Avenue at Lanark Street, with Rev. Clark Saunders officiating.
