HERMINIGILDA SANCHEZ URBANO It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother at the age of 76 on August 24, 2000 at the Health Sciences Centre. She has left to mourn her passing, her husband Silvestre Urbano Sr.; their 12 children; 31 grandchildren and one great-grandson, Leonie and Joe de Leon, Philippines (Vida and Glen Damm, Dennis, Liselle), Remedios and Manuel Zamora (Manuel Jr. and Ellen, Mabel and Noel Cruz (Jomel), Maurel), Mila Pinlac - Toronto, Ont. (Jessalyn, Justin, Janice), Rodel and Helen Urbano - San Jose, Calif. (Rhazel and Rhadcleff), Lito and Thelma Urbano - Vancouver (Sylvan, Charisma), Candido and Sylvia Urbano - Binmaley, Philippines (Dharold, Jerrick, Sherry, Sheila), Cecile and Santiago Villareal - Manila, Philippines (Steve, Stephanie, Stanley, Santy Jr., Star), Tito and Margit Urbano - Koln, Germany (Jennifer, Vanessa), Aida and Benjamin Tabafunda - Calgary, Alta. (Kathryn, Benjamin Jr., Ariel) Nitz and Emil Miranda (Jillian, Julius), Silvestre Jr. and Regina Urbano (Silvestre II, Stefan) and Frank Urbano and Maan Chan. She also leaves her brothers and their families in the Philippines, Rufino, Leocadio and Jaunito Sanchez. Herminigilda was predeceased by her son-in-law Ely Pinlac. Her family wishes to thank the Ramos family, Pedring Nolasco, and staff of the Health Science Emergency Unit for their assistance and compassion. Lamay will be held on Sunday, August 27 from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street and on Monday, August 28 from 6:00 p.m. to midnight also at Glen Eden. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 29 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patricks Roman Catholic Church, 168 Worth St. with Fr. Marc Monforton, O.M.I. celebrating.
