Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCONSTANCE CRAWFORD (nee NAVIN) On August 26, 2000, Constance Crawford passed away. Constance was predeceased by her husband Robert Earl, infant son Anthony and grandson Robert Crawford Racine. She is survived by her children, Michael and wife Sonja, Lorraine and husband Bruce Beatty, Bill and partner Steve McConnell, Connie and husband Steve Redman; grandchildren Shannon, Michael, John, Jason, Elizabeth, Lorraine, Taylor, Andrew, Diana and great-grandchildren, Erin and Paige mourn her passing. Constance is also survived by her sisters in England, Margaret and Hilda and their families. Constance was born in Bacup, Lancashire, England in 1918. During the Second World War she was in the Auxillary Territorial Service (ATS). Following the war she immigrated to Canada. As the wife of a military officer she lived throughout Canada. Her happiest times were as a young mother raising her family. She was a devoted Catholic. Her faith sustained her throughout her life and especially during her recent illness. Special thanks to Sister Mary Ann of St. Paul the Apostle who was her spiritual advisor and close friend. Also thanks to the nurses of 3 South, Grace General Hospital. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, Man., R3C 3R2. "Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in Thee." Memorial mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2400 Portage Ave., on Thursday August 31, at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow at church.
