Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryISABELLA (BELLA) HEBENTON On Sunday,August 27, 2000, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Isabella (Bella) Hebenton, passed away peacefully at Oakview Place Nursing Home at the age of 97 years. She was predeceased by her husband Robert and sisters, Margaret and Mary. Isabella will be greatly missed by her son Andrew (Gael) and daughter Gladys; ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Isabella was born on May 8, 1903 in Forfar, Scotland. As a young child her family moved to a farm in Binscarth, MB. She married her husband Robert in August 24, 1928 and resided in the West End of Winnipeg where they raised their two children. Isabella enjoyed golfing, lawn bowling, curling and dancing. She was a member of the Sons of Scotland and Melrose Camp. On Thursday, August 31 at 1:00 p.m. Isabellas funeral service will be held in the McClure United Church, 533 Greenwood Place with The Rev. Hugo Unruh officiating. Viewing will be held prior to her service. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, 88 Hespeler Avenue. Our family wishes to thank the staff at Oakview Place Nursing Home, especially 3rd Floor East, for the care and compassion given to Isabella over the past five years. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Isabellas memory may be sent to Extendicare/Oakview Place, 2395 Ness Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3J 1A5.
