PETER SENCHUK It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Peter Senchuk, a loving husband, father and grandfather, at the age of 87, on August 26, 2000. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Mabel; sons, Rick (Irene) Dutiame and Peter (Shelly) Senchuk; daughters, Dianne (Bill) Dutiame and Arlene (Bill) Anderson; and by seven grandchildren, Todd, Mark, Jennifer, Megan, Katie, Allyson and Branden, whom he always made feel very special. Peter is also survived by his brother Mike, whose visits he looked forward to and enjoyed; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Petes early life was spent in McMunn where he attended school. Later he went into the pulp and sawmill business with his brother Mike. He moved to Winnipeg and worked as a mechanic for Muirhead Forwarding until his retirement in 1979. Dad was a kind and gentle family man. His handyman talents knew no limits. Pete had the ability to repair anything he touched. Dads happiest times were spent tinkering on his many projects, camping, fishing in the Whiteshell, gardening, golfing or playing (and winning) a game of Liverpool Rummy. His greatest joy was being surrounded by his entire family, sitting on his deck enjoying the day and sharing a cool one! We miss you already Dad. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 29, at 10:00 a.m. from Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #1 East at Green Acres Lane. Visitation will commence one half hour prior to the service. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Heritage Room at Green Acres. The interment will follow in the cemetery at Prawda, Man. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, Man., R3E 9Z9. "Life kept Dad busy, its time to rest now." GREEN ACRES FUNERAL CHAPEL 222-3241
