LORRAINE BATCHELOR (nee CHRISTIANSON) With deep sadness, we wish to announce the passing of Lorraine Batchelor in Castlegar, BC after a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by her husband glen Batchelor in 1994; her parents, Anne and Anton Christianson; sisters, Aldine and Mae and brothers, Elgin and Wayne. Left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law Wayne and Cheryl Batchelor; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all residing in British Columbia. Also left to mourn are her brothers, Earl, Glen (Joan), Lorne (Marilyn) and sister-in-law Sherry Christianson, all of Winnipeg. She will be affectionately remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Lorraine will be sadly missed by the Batchelor family with whom she had many good times. Lorraine was born in Erikson, MB on August 22, 1928, was married in Winnipeg, where she and "Batch" spent many happy years. They moved to Castlegar, BC in 1993. A memorial service has taken place.
