HELEN ALEXANDER YULE It is with deep sorrow we announce the death of Helen Alexander Yule at Oakview Place Extendicare on August 28, 2000, at the age of 86. Helen was predeceased by her parents, David and Agnes Yule and leaves to mourn her cousins, Edith, Beatrice, Eleanor and Alex (Babe) other relatives and many good friends. Helen was born in Winnipeg and lived most of her life in St. James. She cared for her ailing mother until her fathers retirement at which time she was able to work at the Manitoba Dairy and Poultry Co-op until her retirement. Following retirement, she enjoyed travelling around North America, the British Isles, and Europe. Helen had a love of music and one of her favourite pastimes was playing her piano. She had a happy disposition and was always willing to join in any activity. She was always a pleasure to be with. She was a member of St. James united Church for many years. Our heartfelt thanks to Oakview Place staff for their devoted care to Helen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helens memory to a charity of ones choice. Funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Don McIntyre at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., on Thursday, August 31 at 12:30 p.m. Interment to follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
